I joined FilipinoCupid in search of true love, and I feel so lucky to have met this wonderful man. After reading his profile, I sent him a message, and he replied almost immediately. Our communication started right away, and just three days later, we exchanged numbers and connected on messaging apps. We both deactivated our profiles and continued talking for three and a half months. Then, he booked a ticket to the Philippines for a one-month, 13-day stay to meet me in person.
Having him here was the best gift I could ever receive—the care of a man I had always longed for. We stayed at Lagoon Resort in Laguindingan for two weeks, where our journey together began. We made so many memories, met the kind caretaker, and had our first gathering with my family, including a fun barbecue. After that, we spent five days at Don Arc Initao, a beautiful place with white sand, friendly staff, and delicious drinks.
We then decided to visit Bantayan, Cebu for 13 days. We spent quality time together, explored the island, enjoyed seafood, and sipped tasty drinks. We stayed at La Playa Resort in Santa Fe, where the friendly staff made our bond even stronger. Afterward, we headed to Costabella Resort in Cebu for 12 days, a lovely place where we met wonderful people. We also had the chance to try Korean food and enjoy affordable seafood.
Now, we’re back in Cagayan de Oro City. He has one week left here before heading back to the USA. This journey has been amazing, and we’ve built and grown our love. Though we’ll be apart again, our hearts will continue to beat as one, and our love will only grow stronger. We’re hopeful that next year, he’ll visit again, and we’ll start planning our future together, including me moving to the USA to be with him.
