Tbh, I'm on this website so I could compare myself to other normal, average, single Filipinas my age. Whenever I go on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, everyone else seems to be married or having kids or crushing it at their careers. It gets really discouraging sometimes. Right now, I'm a work in progress. Maybe even "undateable". I'm still working on losing 30 pounds, publishing my novel/stories, and dealing with my neurodivergence (read: my weird brain). But I don't know. They say every pot has its lid, no matter how strangely it's shaped. So maybe there's someone out there for me.  Um, about me... Some random facts, I guess?  - I'm an INFP. (I know, I know, that personality test isn't scientific. But the profile still serves as a useful shorthand for a lot of my personality traits. I also happen to be an Aries and a Chinese dragon, but neither of those types fits me at all.) - I like looking at the stars while singing along to Christian music, even though I have strong objections against many aspects of religion. - I'm a scatterbrain, so I try all sorts of apps and spreadsheets to keep myself in line, with negotiable success.  - I've been trying to do Duolingo French for like three years. I can say "Good morning, I would like to book a hotel room for two, for me and my pet owl Duo" but that's about it. Still trying though.  - My love language is (1) acts of service and (2) physical touch. For some weird reason, I love giving words of affirmation to others, but I feel a bit cringey when other people compliment me. - I'm frugal, to the point of being cheap. I go to the salon maybe once every five years. I wear my clothes and shoes until they fall to pieces. (Which is probably one of the reasons why I'm still single, come to think of it.)  - I'm a fairly okay cook, if you're into Filipino cuisine.  - I enjoy doing chores if I have a good podcast or audiobook ready.  - I'm not a huggy, bubbly, extroverted kind of person, but I could be cuddly, submissive, and possibly nauseatingly cute around the man I choose.  Basically, I'd make a great lapdog, er, I mean partner for a patient, chill man who would enjoy a slow, quiet (albeit somewhat untidy) life. I try to reserve all my drama for my writing. When arguing, I never do ad hominems. I have a bunch of sensory sensitivities and anger issues -- I've been known to swear at gadgets or computer screens -- but I hate getting angry at people. In a fight, my main tactic first would be to disengage, open up my virtual diary to write about the issue from both sides, and then come back to the other person and try to see what kind of system or fix we could put into place to deal with the root cause. I mostly do this with my mom. She's super religious and I'm not, etc etc... I'm sorry for rambling. I never know what to write in these things. But yeah, that's me. Hey.
