Last Update: July 2024 Could someone please explain why chatting with a woman on this website, in order to get to know her a little, is seen as being uncooperative? I was recently in the middle of a conversation with a woman who abruptly stopped responding. My first thought was I must have asked an inappropriate question but all I had asked was what had caused her to be awake so early in Philippines? When I saw her profile marked as “busy” but she wasn’t messaging me, I messaged that I guess she must be chatting with someone else. That got a quick response of Don’t Judge Me followed by “bye.” We are all looking for love, I hope, so if you are chatting with someone else I understand. All I was looking for was acknowledgment that now wasn’t a good time and I was free to spend my time looking elsewhere. If neither of us was happy with what we would find then we could try chatting with each other again at another time. Can we all accept that everyone’s time is important to them and all of us want to feel our time is not being wasted waiting for attention that may not come? If we treat each other’s time and effort with respect won’t we all come out of this experience, even if we are not able to find the “one,” feeling disappointed but not abused? I certainly don’t want to abuse anyone’s time and effort so why was it considered rude to ask for the same consideration? Important Update: A few things have become clear to me after using this site. It is too easy for someone to grab a single photo from the internet and create a profile. If your profile has only one photo or photos from a single event Please don’t contact me. I’ve worked hard on my profile to make it easy to see who I am. If you are not willing to put in the same effort then we are not a good match. Please don’t just say hello and invite me to communicate with you on WhatsApp. You look like a Scammer if you are unwilling to chat on this site first. Second important update: I’ve now been contacted by the third profile that was using the photos of a Filipina actress or model. It’s such a shame that there are really evil people who would try to take advantage of someone who is looking for love. These contacts waste my time and hurt my heart. Before I try to tell you who I am I’d like to say thank you to the women who have contacted me. I assure you that I have looked through every profile and photo carefully. If I haven’t responded to you it’s because I didn’t believe we would be a good match. Most of us are on this site looking for the relationship we dream of and I will not occupy your time unless I am certain of my interest. My search is not casual and I will respect your heart and your time in the same way I am asking everyone out there to respect mine. Ok...what is important for you to know about me? Well...I’m a kind man. In my experience it is no more difficult to be kind than it is to be rude so I choose kindness...unless you are rude to my future wife...that I will not tolerate. I am an actor and I earn a nice living doing it. I’m not a movie star and I don’t have mirrors all over my home so I can look at myself. I do have mirrors of course but I use them to keep track of my cat while he hunts for his toys. HE thinks he’s a movie star! I am also a Professor at the local university. I have tenure which means I will have a job for as long as I wish. I plan to teach for another 10 - 12 years and then enjoy a comfortable retirement. If you are looking for a wealthy man I’m not him. I earn a consistent upper middle class living that allows me to live well but not lavishly. I’m fit and passionate and curious about almost everything. If having a smart husband seems like too much work then please look elsewhere. I read widely and consistently. If I’m not talking then I will be listening carefully...or reading...maybe watching a little TV. I promise to let you pick what we watch at least half of the time. I love to walk but I prefer biking. The humidity can be very high here so we would need to be smart about exercising outside. I will take you to one of the local beaches if you would enjoy that but you will have to let me stay under a shade umbrella. My complexion is very fair so I don’t really tan. I have been known to go from pale to sunburned while walking to my car...just kinding...mostly. I think Asian women are the most beautiful women in the world and if I’m lucky I will find the woman who will think she is lucky to have found me. If I’m unlucky then perhaps I will at least learn a little more about Asia as a consolation. As I said...curious mind. If you have read all the way to this sentence then maybe you should say hello?
